Why do we have an inspection fee?

-Our goal is to make your unit last and help you reduce your energy costs

-Most units have been neglected over the years and they need some TLC

How much does it costs?

-$499 per unit
$99 to reserve the inspection and an additional $400 total once the inspection is complete

How long does it take?
3 to 5 hours per unit.

What does the fee cover?

-We thoroughly inspect the system to ensure it will remaining in working condition
-We seal the ducts to reduce air loss: We seal at the air vents from the attic and seal at the unit creating a less than 10% Air loss.
-This preventive maintenance increases the efficiency of your HVAC system helping reduce energy costs while increasing comfort throughout your home
Normally we charge $900 to seal the duct work
 

                  

Other items we check

  • Inspect and clean or replace air filters (owner provides filters)
  • Inspect condensate drain lines to ensure drain is clear
  • Test temperature splits between supply and return ducts
  • Level and calibrate thermostat
  • Visually inspect inside ducting for dirt and mold
  • ( black mold represents highly risk of lungs infections)
  • Inspect ducting connections for air loss (this is a common cause of inefficient systems)

Inspect and clean inside evaporator coil for clogged air flow

  • Check refrigerant pressures and temperatures for proper levels.
  • Measures compressor amps draws.
  • Inspect refrigerant fittings for leaks
  • Check wiring at 4 crucial points of unit
  • Tighten blower bolts and inspect Fan
  • Check and clear shrub clearance around condenser
  • Hose wash and clean condenser coils / surface
  • Tighten screws on condenser unit and check balance
  • Check compressor noise levels
